Hi, I'm Max, and just started working as a research engineer at Mistral.While I went to school quite a bit (Physics, Sociology, Technology Management, and a couple I didn't finish), I learned to code on my own.
I'm excited about building developer tools, research, experimentation, and recently system level programming and high performance computing close to the metal.
To that end, I've spent three months at Recurse Center in New York earlier this year; pushing the edge of my my programming abilities, getting into Rust, and doing some OSS work -- you can read about that experience here .
I generally thrive working autonomously on ambitious projects.
